counter customisable
night sky

This movie is made from a series of 30-second exposures taken from about 11-12pm. It was our last night in the Okanagan. The camera looks north-ish towards Peachland and the highway carrying busy holiday traffic into Penticton. Over the course of the movie it gets brighter when the moon rises behind the camera. If you look at the hills at the right, you can see the shadow that the moonlight casts progressing across the landscape. I am really going to miss being able to see the night sky - there are so many stars.

We made lavender pear jelly today. Here is a good reference for jelly making.
