We completely cleared out our main floor and moved down into our basement apartment. The big renovation starts tomorrow with the arrival of the demolition crew. I have no personal interest in demolishing anything anymore after doing the basement. It's well worth the money to pay someone to do it.
The plan: remove interior partitions, put in a new kitchen, replace the windows, insulate the walls and put in a large sliding door to the garden.
Goodbye green kitchen with doors that won't stay shut. You won't be missed.
