The windows arrived today! Two true double hung windows and a lift-and-slide door, all in Spanish Cedar and made by Ross Windows and Doors in Parry Sound. They look fantastic and we are really happy. They should look even better when installed.
Also, Luis sucessfully placed the new steel lintel in the masonry. After the mortar has cured it will be doing its job supporting the brick above the new lift-and-slide. Work to repair the second floor joists continued inside with about half the joists sistered. The new LVL beams around the stair opening should go in tomorrow.
