A first test of a motion controlled camera and time lapse shooting.
Having recently acquired an Arduino and retrieved the servos from my radio control hobby past, I whipped up this quick test to see how motion can work with timelapse. The Arduino tells the servo to step one degree, rotating the camera, which then takes a shot. The camera was bolted to a wood plate balanced over the center of the servo's rotation. A big clamp held the whole thing upright.

Any permanent set up needs to be very stable and the servo alone does not have enough precision: a step of one degree is far too coarse for smooth motion.
